Excess Flow Lagoons

The maximum capacity of the treatment plant is 28 MGD.  Flow in excess of 28 MGD is screened then pumped to a series of excess flow basins with a total capacity of 9 million gallons. If the storage capacity of 9 MG is exceeded, flow receives primary settling and disinfection before being discharged Cedar Creek.
